And just like that we slow down…the final rotation of spinach went in hoop 2 to winter over for Spring harvest and 2 rotations of lettuce into hoop 1. We pulled pumpkins and squash from the patch and dug some great potatoes and a bounty of sweet potatoes for next week’s final share. We turned a blind eye to clean up for this week….it can wait a bit will we enjoy this beautiful weather.
CSA #17

Head Lettuce-And another beauty. Lettuce is 1 of my favorite things to grow….The flavor and crunch this week fantastic.

Arugula-This is a serrated variety that mimics wild arugula in flavor and texture.

Potatoes-An heirloom this week and delicious. Steamed or boiled they are fantastic. Also. smashed after steaming and broil with olive oil and cheese if you choose is a treat.

Winter Squash-The bounty continues. Snack choose 1 full choose 2.
Shallots-We harvested these beauties this summer and dried them down. Great mild flavor.

Bell Peppers-A surprise to us….we thought the plants were done. Enjoy!

Pie Pumpkin-(Full share only)-An heirloom too and a favorite here for pumpkin bread and biscuits. Super creamy and dry.
BEST GUESS FOR NEXT WEEK-HEAD LETTUCE, SPINACH, CARROTS, RADISHES, SQUASH, POTATO, SWEET POTATO, BRUSSELS SPROUTS, CARVING PUMPKIN, SWEET POTATOES-TONS! AND MORE….
