Our winter/storage share option has filled for the 2016 season.   Thanks to all for the wonderful support and happy excitement for the upcoming growing season.  We are looking foreword to an amazing summer!

We are participation  in the Cool Boo Open Studios Tour again this year.  If you are interested in seeing what we do with our hands when we are not working in the garden pop in 9-4 Saturday January 30th.   Scott created some fun hearts from a ’79 suburban hood and top, green metal reclaimed from the roof of the Al Ringling Theatre, wood from a farm silage wagon that is the perfect red, and vintage whiskey barrels.  Jennifer made some fun valentines with old paper and also her huge collection of costume jewelry has finally been put to good use as snazzy hearts for the season.  Maeve painted “magical love rocks” and created wonderful cards again with help from big sister Amy.  And we have guests this year too….Susan from Little French Bakery is bring treats to sell and her cookbook.  Jason from Lodge Coffee Roasters will be selling hot coffee and freshly roasted beans, Pam Bell has created beautiful fiber art pieces and Scott’s sister Koren is bringing cool “Upcycled” lamps.  A full house of fun.

Our Spring Share for the 2016 season has filled!  Thank you to all members that jumped on board early.   A few openings remain in our winter storage share and plenty of space in main season snack pack and full share.  We’ll keep you posted.

Happy 2016!

We are grateful for the wonderful member support the last 5 years and we are ready to rock 2016!

Finishing up the 2016 seed order.

Seed order is done.  After 3 whole days pouring over the catalogs and writing down quantities and varieties and second guessing decisions we finally have the season’s seeds all set. Nice to have this BIG detail out of the way.  Lots of exciting things planned.  Tomatillos for you Teri! More green beans, lots of cucumbers, 2 more rows of tomatoes, more herbs and flowers too.  We read all the returned 2015 member surveys and those great comments will direct some fun changes to next season.  A really big one is PICK UP THIS SEASON WILL BE ON THURSDAYS 3-6 HERE AT THE HOUSE…. Many members mentioned a change might be good.  We’re switching things up this year and giving it a try.

Foxline 2016 CSA enrollment is now open.

SPRING SHARE-4 consecutive weeks of cool loving crops from the hoop house starting in May.  A green lovers delight!  Share will include 6-10 different offerings each week.  Spinach, lettuce, salad mix, saute mix, sunflower shoots, pea shoots, arugula, salad turnips, radishes, baby carrots, pac choi, asian greens and more!  A delicious treat after the long cold winter!! $125  ($31.25 a week)

1st Spring Share May 4th 2015.

Standard Full Share-20 consecutive weeks starting in June. A perfect share for a family or couple that cooks most weekly meals at home.  Feel free to share a share with another family and split the bounty weekly or every other week.   Weekly offerings of seasonal produce all summer long.  Tons of leafy greens!, spinach, lettuce, salad mix, saute mix, asian greens, swiss chard, collard greens, celery, celeriac, rhubarb, radishes, carrots, beets, summer squash, winter squash, spaghetti squash, cucumbers, beans, peas, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, ground cherries, melons, eggplant, peppers, brussels sprouts, onions, leeks, shallots, garlic,  turnips, honey, flowers and more…..Produce is clean, carefully packaged and stored in our walk in cooler until time of pickup. $560 ($28 a week)

SNACK PACK SHARE-20 consecutive weekly pick ups starting in June…..Back by popular demand after 2014 launch…..  The perfectly sized share for a single person or busy couple or family.  Smaller portions-1 meal, “ready to eat” produce, low preparation time all considered when we pack the snack pack share.  We love this share!  Seasonal garden produce all season long.  Tons of leafy greens!, spinach, lettuce, salad mix, saute mix, asian greens, swiss chard, collard greens, celery, celeriac,  rhubarb, radishes, carrots, beets, summer squash, winter squash, spaghetti squash, cucumbers, beans, peas, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, ground cherries, melons, eggplant, peppers, brussels sprouts, onions, leeks, shallots, garlic, turnips, honey, flowers and more…..Produce is clean, carefully packaged and stored in our walk in cooler until time of pickup. $290 ($14.50 a week)

WINTER STORAGE SHARE-2 jumbo storage pick ups.  1 mid November 1 early December.  Hearty storage vegetables for the winter meals.  Spinach, lettuce, arugula, carrots, beets, celeriac, cabbage, brussels sprouts, winter squash, fall honey, potatoes, sweet potatoes, kale, swiss chard, onions, leeks, garlic and more. $160 ($80 per pick up)

Other exciting details…..

We are pairing up with Jason Moyer Lodge Coffee this season.  A coffee share!  Details to be announced soon.

CoolBoo Open Studios is around the corner.  Saturday January 30th.  Our garage “studio” will be open with artwork created Scott’s sister Koren, Jennifer’s friend Pam, Scott, Jennifer and Maeve….as well as delicious treats from Susan Holding Little French Bakery.  Susan will have her cookbook available for purchase too.  AND Jayson Moyer Lodge Coffee will have hot coffee and fresh roasted beans available to take home.  We are excited to participate in the fun event again this year.

Our BIG Spring Plant Sale will be in Early May again this year.  Everything needed for your home garden.

We have also included an entry on the enrollment form for an at will donation towards the cost of production of our donations to the Baraboo Food Pantry.  We delivered fresh, clean, ready to eat produce in season to our local food pantry for the past 3 years and will continue in 2016.
