We change again with the season….A great few weeks of garden clean up and managing the final crops out of the hoop house and field. The days have been fairly mild for pulling out crops and picking up irrigation. Hopefully we get the garden put to bed before the snow arrives…..

Hauling Brussels Sprouts from the field in very fashionable autumn wear.

Scott hauling the Brussels Sprout stalks to the compost after our final pick of the season. Best Brussels Sprout year ever for us with almost 1000 pounds. Some stalks were almost as tall as Maeve!

The leafy green crops under row cover on chilly days…
Our thoughts have already turned to next year’s gardens. We’ve ordered our potatoes and ginger already and seed lists have started. Our final orders will all be placed by Christmas. We are excited and looking forward to a wonderful growing season. 2018 CSA enrollment opens in January.
