Spring is around the corner and it sure feels good….
Life is busy in the greenhouse and hoop house these days. Seeds are started daily in the greenhouse for all those delicious early greens that will fill our Spring Shares and we have directed seeded the greenhouse this past week with leafy green mixes that we all love. The over wintered Spinach harvest has started a month earlier than last year! It is fantastic and a bounty and we are grateful. The onions and leeks are up and stretching their little thread like stalks. I chuckled that I seeded in our leeks for this year the same day we ate our last stored leeks from the late fall harvest last year. A nice full circle.
